Concept: My assignment was to design a digital QSL card (a postcard for radio stations) with the theme of "Year of the Dragon" based on the Chinese calendar. I went through several variations before deciding on a blue color scheme as I realized during my process that 2024 is specifically the year of the blue dragon. The dragon holds the "0" in "2024" as if it were a precious jade gem, a common depiction of traditional Chinese dragons.
